Default Remote Start...yay or nay?

Called a few of my local major alarm shops around here, and was told not to try to put remote start on my A4. Is this a common thing or are they just lazy because it's not a F-150?

my best guess is because of the wiring involved with audi. you also need to bypass the anti-theft module to get remote start.

are you doing this just for convenience or to warm car up? i mean it takes like a minute or two for the warmup idle to drop then your fine to drive...

and also idling uses up fuel quite a bit

I personnally do not recommend them when my customers ask about installing them in there vehicles.
I do however remove them when they fail & prevent the cars from starting!
