Exclamation Remove License Plate Issue!

Hi!

I'm trying to remove the license plates on my A4 to put a cover on them ... I removed the front one and successfully put on the cover ... however, I can't remove the back plates! The screws look extremely corroded, and I don't know what to do at this point. I've searched the net endlessly and havn't found anything. I've tried just about everything to remove them without damaging the car in anyway.

Please help!

Cheers,

- I Love Lagar -

Have you tried to spray them with some WD40 or something similar/

Definitely use some oil like WD40, but if you have completely stripped them out use a dremel or a hacksaw blade and carefully cut a slot into the head of the screws. Then you can get a straight-blade screwdriver into the slot and break them loose. Then go buy some galvanized screws to replace them with.

Good luck

Default screwdriver

u should try to use a small screwdriver and remove ur license plate. That might help to get those little screwes out.
