Question Slight grinding feeling thru gas pedal

When I start my car after it sitting for 8hrs+...when I put it in drive then drive forward...after a yard or 2 of the car moving...i feel a quick and slight grinding feeling thru the gas pedal then it goes away and it completely gone. It last like a second.

And this doesnt happen when I put the tranny in "D". My tranny is completely quiet if im swtiching from D to R and back and forth or whateva. I could be sitting on "D" all day while parked and no sound. But as soon as I take off...I get a quick slight grinding feeling thru the gas pedal.

Only happens if im driving after my car is sitting for a long time. Because I've tried stopping the car after a drive and trying get the "grind" again, but it wont to do.

Any ideas???

Default Grinding feeling in gas pedal

I have a 2003 A4 3.0 V6 Tiptronic and experience the same issue. It is only when the car has been sitting for a while and happens once on moving the first 2-3 yards. I can feel a short grinding feeling in the gas pedal and often I can hear it briefly as well.

Does anyone else experience the same thing?
