Hello all, I have a 2002 A4 Quattro 3.0 Sport Package 175,000 miles. Love the car but recently it had rained for 4 days straight and now when I shift into D the panel shows 54321 with 1 highlighted and will not shift out of 1. Also I tried manual with the same result. The only time it shifts normal is in sport mode which is killing my MPG. I opened up the ECU a little and didn't see water in it. I also checked the magnets in the gear shifter seems normal. I am guessing a relay but not for sure, any help and part numbers to order would be great. Thanks

 

Also getting a left rear light indication. light seems to be working just fine. Any Help would be great on these issues.

just changed the Neutral Safety Switch....Problem remains...
