Default TurboCharger Replacement

Please help![]
I have a 2002 A4 T1.8 (100k miles) My turbocharger has died and I purchased a factorymodel one off of TurboChargerPros. However my mechanic states the car is still smoking. Once heremoves the turbochargerhe notices oil insidewhere it shouldn't be. Under the assumption that the first 2 turbochargers I got from them he reasoned that they were inoperable (turbochargerpro model). He seems unable to figure it out. Any suggestions on why oil is burning inside the Turbo?

The return line is clogged or something to that effect.

Are you sure it isnt a valve cover gasket leaking in the same location?

Yes. The cover was removed and there was no oil on the heads. To be clear there is no oil leak. But inside the Turbo where the exhaust leaves there is oil located in that valve.

I know this is late reply, but a situation like this calls for a cleanup of the intercooler . During bad turbo time, the oil will spill in the intercooler. If the intercooler is not rinsed out, oil will burn in the turbo for some time.
