Vibration from a/c
Hey Guys,
I'm having some issues with my a/c again. Whenever my a/c is turned on and I come to a stop, I can hear a "humming" sound (its really hard to discribe) coming from what seems to be somewhere near the passenger side of the window cow. I know it is the a/c, because if I hit the ECON button the sound stops immediately. And whenever I hear this sound, I have a rough idle. Not like its missing, but more like there's a large load on the motor.
So far, what has been done to my a/c is:
1. Had a local a/c mechanic replace my compressor, evaporator, and pressure switch (the one on teh radiator)
2. starting having these problems so took it back to the mechanic (btw, while working on my car, he is working with another mechanic I know who specializes in euro cars {just doesn't do a/c work}
3. Took it to the dealership and was told my fan control module was bad.
4. Replaced the module myself because there was no way I was paying $900 for them to do it for me.
5. This is where I'm at now
Any ideas?
p.s. I have also had the pressures measured by multiple people, and they all check out normal.
