I found it on ebay. Would I have to buy anything else and if so, how much would those parts be? Could I install this with basic mechanical skills? And would I reallly get up to 350 hp from my 1.8?!

LOL t3 turbo is HUGE... I dont know what they are selling, but people spend $5k-7k to get 270whp. Anyways, you would also need a software+injectors- another $1300 or so + clutch/brakes/suspension and other goodies...
And yes, you can get 350hp from your 1.8t, but you gonna need to spend much more money than what ebay offers.
installing a BT is basically a puzzle game, just to put everything on its place.

 

Worthless since it doesn't even come with a manifold. If you want 350chp just buy a Elim kit which will bolt right to your stock manifold. If you want more then 400chp you will need to upgrade the rods in your engine.

 

if it was really that cheap or easy to get to 350hp everyone and thier grandmother would be doing it. If you want to go fast (and not have to buy a new engine in the next 10k) it's going to cost you.

The very first thing you need to do if you want to mod the car is to determin what your goals are, how much money you have to spend on it, and if you feel that woudl have the ability and time to do the work yourself.

#1 Stage 1 Flash - $500ish
#2 Stage 1+ Flash and Fuel Injectors - $800-$1000
#3 Stage 2 Flash, Fuel Injectors, K04 Turbo, FMIC - $2000 - $2500
#4 Stage 3 Flash, Fuel Injectors, GTRS Turbo, mannifold, FMIC, Test Pipe/HF Cat, Exhaust - $3500-$4500
#5 Stage 3+ - don't have any experence in this area, sorry.

prices are for the main parts only, you will also need to include an adtional cost for other misc parts (IE: DV) and also labor if you don't have the ability or time to strip your car down to the engine.
