I did a forum search and found nothing that was helpful.

So, I look under my hood trying to find the ECT sensor and I remember someone saying that it is a green plug thingy. So I look behind the block and there is no "green plug thingy" to be found Except for the one that is next to the blue, red and grey plug "thingies" BEHIND THE COOLANT RESEVOIR. Since this is the only Green plug thingy under the hood, is it the ECT sensor?

CEL was on this morning and independent shop scan saying ECT Engine coolant temperature sensor codes pulled

How can I locate and replace this sensor? Will there be one or more ECT sensor(s)?
