Wiper blade confusion

Wiper blade confusion
Interesting - so I have a 2004 A4 with the Bosch wiper blades (the ones that have a curve and they press against the windshield to straighten out).
The dealer (I know, dealer = $$$, but unfortunately, I needed the blades right away so I had to get it from them) gave me two 21" blades and assured me that they would fit. The driver side blade works very well, but the passenger side blade is too long. It is hitting the hood hinge on the passenger side, loud and unpleasant, as you can imagine.
Can anyone tell me what the windshield wiper size for a B6 A4 is? The web has conflicting information - some sites suggest dual 21" but I know that size is too long for the passenger side.

Vin #'s up to mid year 04, up to and including 138000 would use the non aero type like #7. And #7 uses a different part number for L and R blades for that application. After that vin you'd use 7a, the aero blades and they are the same part number for L and R. I just measured the 8E1955425A for L side, and the 8E0955425A for R side, non aero blades ( is that what you were sold?) and they are 22 inches long, both of them. And since the aero blades are the same for L and R, I wonder if you were sold the wrong blades.

Hey Jeff thanks for the reply. I just checked and turns out the wiper blade length is okay. The problem in he passengerside is that when the wipers are on, then on their down position the Armco too low and hit the hinge of the hood, creating some nasty sounds. All I will need to do is adjustthewiper arm motion to not go so low... Any suggestions on how I might be able to do that?
