Default '06 A4 window keeps rolling down

Passenger front window sometimes keeps rolling down by itself after I try rolling it up. It'll stay closed for less than a second and then roll down about half way all by itself. It happens once in a while so I don't really know what the problem is. Any ideas??

There is a pinch sensor on the windows that reverses the windows any time an arm or something gets hit by the window as it's rolling up. Sometimes when it is really hot outside (as I'm sure Fremont, CA can sometimes be), the rubber stripping could enlarge and cause the same effect. There is no fix, just keep rolling it up until it stays up.

yes, happens on my driver's window as well. At first I couldn't figure out what was happening, but I noticed that it happens only during really hot days, and in direct sunlight. So your answer about the expanded rubber liners and the pinch sensors makes a lot of sense. I just keep pushing the "up" button until it stays up! Thanks for your answer.

Thanks for the replies, I guess I can learn to live with it. The thing that concerns me is that it happens only with that one window. I read on another forum that the window might have lost it's pinch protection programming and he said the fix is to roll them all the way up, and hold the button up, roll them down and hold the button down, then roll them all the way up again and hold the button up again and they should be set...I tried this yesterday and haven't had the problem again. In any event, it's alright for now!
