Default Just got a A4 CPO..it's been to the dealership 4 times...

I picked up a 2006 a4 Sline last month..and it's already been in the shop 4 times for little things. First time was 4 days after i got it for some intake flap
that got stuck. Then it went in cause the xenon's were flickering (end of life)
they wouldn't replace them and wanted to charge $350 for install 1. Then
the passanger side side mirror dimmer stopped working..so they replaced
that and then forgot to attach the cable to open the door. So now the door
didn't want to open from the inside. So i just picked it up today..and i was
going back from the dealer and now the check engine went on.

This is insane...Anyone know what I should do? It's under CPO warranty so
it doesn't bother me that much but this is a huge inconviences. I don't know
what I should do now.

Get them Road force Balanced. It balances them under load of driving conditions. Regular balancers sometimes just can't get it. I had a vibration problem when my CV axle was going out on my B6 A4. Could be a problem there as well.

I only buy CPO. I wont even buy new. Just get it 1 or 2 years old and CPO. Good as new. Can't wait till the B8's are 2 years old.

I bought my 2006 A4 about a month and half ago and I also have been back to the dealership a few times. I've gone back for very minor issues but it still is a hassle to deal with these people. They gave me the car with a nearly dead battery and refused to replace it until I argued for several hours. Now my car has some sort of starting problem but since no codes popped up, they can't replace it. Isn't the car supposed to be CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED? What happened to the so called 320 point inspection process!?!?

Based on my experience, there is no 320 points inspection whatsoever. They wont fix the problems until you've found one... sad but true.. i made a mistake not to have taken the car for an inspection before putting my $$ down... taking for granted because of the so called doenst mean **** CPO...what a lesson learnt..

I just got it back, and the code was from the Turbo Bypass Valve. I guess
that's a common thing, so no big deal..but it cost me a deductable which\i didn't even know there was one. The Service rep goes it's under the extended
cpo warranty and it's a $85 dollar deductable. I'm like oh really..that's new to
me. Didn't know there was a deductable....

hopefully this is the end of problems for awhile..because I love the car..
but jeez..cpo and having all this stuff go wrong under 1000 miles and 1 month.

I mean come on..

yes.. the Business Manager should have explained about the deductible before he/she made you sign the contract. I know there's 85 surcharge but i was never charged a dime every time i bring the car in... again, they didnt fix 80% of the problems lol

Didn't know there was a deductable either. The Bypass valve is about that much. Make sure you get the most recent version (Piston) which is nearly industrucible.
