2006 A4 issues. I need your help.
My brother has an A4 that he left in my driveway and I'm trying to get it ready for him to use for when he returns; brakes, tires, all that jazz. It's been sitting for about a year. I would start it now and then but this time the battery was totally dead.
I was able to jump it after having it hooked up to another car for a while but now the car has ESP light and ABS light on. When I turn the car off the ABS pump keeps going and the headlights stay on even when I switch them off. Could it be because of a low reading or low amperage from the battery or charging system? I hooked up the car to a charger and it supposedly received a full charge. It also starts and runs perfectly fine.
Thanks everyone in advance.

It could be related to the battery dying. When my A4's battery was changed by the dealer, that brief time without the battery scrambled my car. They had to hook it up to the computer and reprogram it, as features wouldn't work right, lights kept popping up on the dash. Fortunately since they did it, I wasn't charged for the reprograming. They've replaced many batteries and never saw a car have quite as bad a reaction as mine did when the battery was disconnected. According to them it's hard to predict how an individual car will react to loosing battery juice.
