My check engine light came on and the code it is giving is p0299/ under boost turbo. I have been doing some research and have concluded that I need either an N75 valve or a new diverter valve. I also under stand that a faulty N75 valve will not send any codes to the cars computer with makes me think it is the diverter valve that needs replaced.

Is this true? Also is the N75 valve the same as a solenoid valve?

 

diverter valve...... it has a rubber diaphram that tends to tear. the new replacements are re-designed piston type
