yea i was surprised to see my audi had the ipod hookup but no aux input. having the radio control the ipod is nice but i think the versatility of an aux input is better

Hi all. I just bought a used audi A3 2008. It came with an iPod hookup that the previous owner installed. How do you set the stereo to AUX for a single disc stereo system?

Not sure because we don't know what model iPod adapter it has, but mine is plugged into the CD-changer port on the back of the radio. So, you change the radio over to CDC and it works.
