Default B7 boost gauge, ecu re code

Is there anyone who knows how to get the boost pressure displayed in your centre instrument, just as an extra function like fuel consumption. I would like to be able to toggle trough a few more of the cars "vitals" than just fuel consumption average etc. -when surely oil press, oil temp, boost press, fuel press is available on the data bus.

also, if anyone all ready have these functions on their b7 1,8tQ (re mapped) I would love to know your numbers for fuel press and boost press. (so that I could see if I have a **** map on mine)

=)

cheers, kim

I dont think u can and the B7 is a 2.0T. I just went out and bought the vacuum/boost gauge and installed it myself on my A4 I had.

In some countries they sell the 1.8 for the B7.

A4 Wiki

That would be a pretty sweet option to be able to moniter boost through the instrument cluster....

I think there was some capability for this on the B6, but not on the B7. However, there are phone apps that can extract this with an OBD-II/bluetooth dongle to communicate it.
