Default Battery Running Down

Hi All,
Kindly help in proffering a solution to my car's battery running down after a while. Usually in the morning after being parked overnight.
I have checked a couple of things:
Alternator was said to be working okay by a local mechanic;
Cannot see any lights left on after locking the car except for the flickering anti-theft light at the driver's door lock **** and the LED light on the headlight switch.
Cannot hear any sound of fans running after locking the car as well.
What can be the problem here?
Thanks.

Have you had the battery checked? They can start to go bad after awhile (dead cell). You checked all the other things I would have checked. You don't have any aftermarket items plugged into the power point that is drawing the battery down? I have a cell phone cradle in mine. It doesn't draw much though.

Thanks for the response.
The battery is new. In fact I bought a new battery because of the reason you gave. I also thought the battery might be bad. So, I have alternated between 3 different batteries and the result is the same.
No, I don't have any aftermarket item plugged in.
Can you help confirm if it is normal for the headlamp switch and daylight **** to have their LED light permanently on even after locking the car?

Not in my car. It illuminates when the key is turned on. Once you shut the car off and remove the key it turns off.

Okay. Thanks. I also think that should be the case. My Passat 2000 has similar ****/switch and switches off when the car is off. Cheers.
