CVT Fluid Change
my b6 CVT transmission has 125k on it. I know early on the fluid was changed by the dealership. I cannot tell by the maintenance guide when it should be changed. Your thoughts cause sometimes i have to remind dealership to perform maintenance when i do my 10k visits... e.g. sparkplugs lol!
No irregularities in shifting. No codes of course. About every 40k miles. External filter line should be checked for flow. Completely warmed up after a drive, in P depress the brake then shift to R, if you always feel the the transmission noticeably shift (with brake still depressed) then it's a good indicator to change it.
You need vagcom to do it (fluid change) on your own.
