Last night as we were driving the car just started to shake big time, pulled over and on to the street from the fwy of how much it was shaking. Well this morning I took a look at it and from a stand still the car shakes a lot and so I opened the hood and the engine is shaking a lot. I just had the oil change done about 300 miles ago and passed every inspection they do at Audi.
What could this be?
Possible an engine mount?
Please anyone with info please let me know.

 

Wonder if you just lost a coil. They are a known problem with Audi/VW. There was a recall/service action that replaced the coils on many of our vehicles.

 

Sounds simple but check your oil cap. During one of my oil changes I forgot to put the cap back on before starting the car (duh) and the engine shook like crazy, due to loss of vacuum. Maybe it's not on securely enough or the o-ring popped? Not saying this is definitely the cause but something easy to check.
