My ignition key is initially difficult to turn, once you get over that first "bump" it's ok. I am not sure if it's the steering wheel lock or the cable to the shift lock out that's causing the friction. Any help would be appreciated, thx, It's a 2.0 Auto

 

Mine does the same. I have read on here that they tend to go bad. Mine hasn't gotten any worse over the three years I have had my car so I just live with it.
