Hi All - New to the site and looking for some insight to an issue.

The cliamte control system can't accurately control temp of inside air and it's driving me nuts.
I can set the int. temp to +70F and depending on the mood of the system it may blow cold air for a while, the warm air...It won't maintain the cabin temp as set.
Happened all winter long and is quite a pain.
One minute the interior may be comfortable, and the next Im getting blasted with cold air.
Happens in Auto or Manual mode and on both driver & passenger side.
The dealer says he's not getting any faulty codes. Im pulling my (already gray) hair out !
Appreciate your thoughts...

 

Does it happen when the "econ" function is on?
Maybe your Temp sensor might be acting up causing it to blow cold air.

 

Yes. Also w/ "Econ" on.

 

That's odd. Econ mode means that the conditioning compressor isn't turning on. IE - It's just a vent to give you some wind inside the vehicle.

It's possible that your system is/has leaked and needs to be recharged. I would take it to the dealer again.

 

Check for a vaccum leak. I think these cars used vaccum actuated doors in the HVAC ducting. Also a possible sticky mixer door
