Hello All,

I recently bought an ipod adaptor ( Audi RNS-E stereo 2004-2008 - AUX, iPhone, iPod and MP3 adapter ). I had it installed however now when I try to listen to cds there is no audio. I am able to get the cd to read, I can see the right number of tracks and time but there is no sound. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Could there be something wrong with how the kit was wired?

Does it happen when your iPod is plugged in?

 

It happens whether my iPod is plugged in or not. In order to toggle between the functions I am supposed to press the cd button. I am able to toggle to every option (cd, aux, iPod) fine, but the cd audio never comes through.
