Ok, i went on vacation for 2 weeks and i came back today. As i proceed with my daily life here, i find out neither of my 2 cars will start and the keyless entry remote wont work on either car. Does anyone has run into the same thing? how to restore the remote so my car can start? I have very recent batteries on both my cars (2006 Audi a4 B7 and Toyota Camry 2006.
can anyone help me? i appreciate it in advance

 

ok, i just learned that there is a "sleep mode" function for the memory in the remotes and there should be a "wake up" process...anybody knows how to wake them up?

 

Check in the manual. There is a sequence that involves leaving the ignition on, and putting the key in the door, and pushing certain buttons. If that does not work, you might have to have the dealer re flash the software. I have left my car sit for two week or longer periods, and never had this happen.
