from my personal research, OEM is the way to go. it should already be pre-gapped i think but it may be worth checking it anyways. i think the gap is spec'd at 0.028" and the model is Bosch FR6KPP332S.

perfecto. I couldn't figure out, colder, hotter, more gap less gap. I am going with your recommend, and look at your link, unless anyone come in here and call you a jackass

Thank you very much for the quick and informative response

yeah def go with the stock Bosch. I have a Revo stage 2 chip, exhaust and a HFC. I just replaced mine when i did everything and that's the best way to go.

a good point was brought up in the thread about how the direct injection keeps things cooler in the combustion chamber even with higher boost. maybe that's why the colder plugs are failing. the tuner told him to use stock plugs and he got cooler ones anyways.

so disregard your comment about going 1 step colder?

I'm not too worried about the stock - this things been chipped for coming on 2 years now, and never had a misfire code.

yeah just go stock, by the sounds of it. so how do you like the chip? how's the milage? i have the rev D diverter valve but not the aftermarket PCV. i've been wondering about chipping and exhaust (milltek or APR) w/ high flow cats for a while.

I quite like it. word around here is that the GIAC is a little more aggressive in the lower RPMs, but I really like the fact that with the APR you don't have to replace the computer, and can turn it on/off via the cruise control stock. Also like that you can put multiple programs on there, although I just have the 93 octane and stock program. Either way, NOT cheap I can tell you that.

Mileage - I've heard that as long as your foot isn't in it, it will not affect. I can't give you a definite, as my foot is always in it I don't think it is noticeably affected though < 1 mpg city, if I had to guess.

Power-wise, the difference is very noiticeable, a worthwhile investment for me.

I NEED to put revD (although they say B7 don't require it) and PCV...I will probably do that when I change plugs...which I am due but procrastinating.
