Hi all,

I have an '06 A4 2.0T. I notice that when the engine is cold and I'm cruising at a constant speed (let's say 40mph for example) on a level surface, my tach will start bobbing a little bit. I can feel the engine as its RPMs fluctuate by 100 or so, and I'm concerned that something may be wrong. This has been going on for a while now, and it recently had the fuel pump and its control unit replaced. It's nothing that major, it's just that I'm concerned it may get worse over time. I'm not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm just wondering if this is anything I should be worried about.

Second question: the iPod stuff. I've seen a bunch of threads on there talking about this kit, but not too many deal with cars with the build in nav, which I have. Any advice for me here? Which brand to get? Is it easy to install, or hire a pro?

My 06 A4 2.0 does the exact same thing. Between 1500 and 2000 rpm, the enginge fluctuates about 100 rpm's. It hasn't been doing it to long. The dealer couldn't find any codes so can't fix anything. I would appreciate any ideas out there.
