Test Pipe for B7 A4
chip can void engine warranty, HFC can void emission, and spring/shocks can void suspension. Those 3 mods alone can void pretty much the whole car.
i choose chip because at least you get huge gains. if HFC would not void anything, then i'd buy it.
APR chips can be hidden from the dealer.
My dealer is mod friendly and asks if you are chipped so they won't accidently erase it. My dealer actually does REVO in house.
That Cat or test pipe is SUUUUUUUPER easy to change so if you want to put it to stock and then take it in, no prob.

and no, APR chip is not hidden. all chips APR, REVO, and GIAC are able to flash back to stock and all 3 are visible to dealer once they diagnose ECU.
I said the cat / test pipe is easy not the whole cat back. Once an ECU is put into stock mose they would have to really try to find it. Ive heard it's not real simple unless they search for it specifically. It does not just show up.
and i dont know what you mean by "really try to find it"....they do have to go to and an extra step and connect their computer to our ECU. once thats done a history of boost pressure will give away your chip.
my audi dealership is mod friendly
and i agree with 2wdblazer the cat is no more then 8 bolts and 2 O2 sensors away from coming out..... its an easy switch for this car
other cars sometimes aren;t so lucky, my buddies mazdaspeed3 is a 8 hour ordeal sucks for him

and a hfc will NOT void anything on your warranty, and it wont fail emissions.....im just a little weary of a 2 hundred dollar hfc because hfc's are not cheap to make and the only other hfc i have seen on the market is made from milltek (reputable to say the least) and that sells for 1000....i have seen other hfc for vw's and the cheapest one i have found is around 500 so to go as low as 200 just seems fishy
whats the cell count?
whats the cell count?
