tpms sensor problem??
hey guys whats up,
a few months ago this happened too and it went away after two days, so i ignored it and moved on, BUT it came back yesterday
i have the (recommended oem tire size 235/45/17) with the oem wheel, and the oem sensors on them, but lately the tpms light will come on for no reason,
1. i check all four tires for any holes or nails everythings looks good.
2. i check tire psi and they are all over 40 psi (good none low)
3. i am assuming that maybe a tpms sensor might be bad, ?? is this possible?? and if so i still have 4000 miles left before my warranty goes out, would this be covered under my warranty???? last i check or asked tpms sensors run about 50-100 bucks plus the labor to install it i.e: take off tire and replace sensor, then put tire back on. i have CLUSTER phobia so it annoys me when any sort of light comes on my dash lol
any info will be appreciated guys thanks!!!!!

tpms sensors go on the fritz constantly have had issues with my a4 as well as my x3
easy fix before thinking u need to go to dealer
be sure that all tire pressures are correct. don't use the bullshit air gauge attached to gas stations pumps.
i don't remember the exact steps and can't check since my wife has the audi atm but thru the stalk u can navigate thru the menu and reset ur tpms sensors
