Angry Well a simple tire plug end up costing me $500

Seems me lug bolts had corroded to a point that one of them fused and when they used the impact wrench on it, tore up the hub as well.

Anyone ever seen this - they asked me if the car had ever been up north apparently it was so bad...

They checked all the rest of the wheels, wirebrushed any of the corroded bolts, put some anti-seize on it all and fixed me up. but damn.

Wow... how long since they'd been taken out?

not really all that long I suppose, been less than 5k since the last rotate, I suppose they could have been corroded somewhat at that point, but nothing stripped yet.

Now today I got the brake pads warning light...may be a coincidence, as it's probably getting pretty close to being due, but I wonder if something may have gone wrong with the sensor when they changed out the hub :idk:
