Audi Care vs Pay-As-You-Go
I just took delivery of a new 2010 A4 and was given the option of purchasing the "Audi Care" program for $790. I noticed on the back of the brochure that the program could be purchased at any time (obviously, before the 15K service). I declined and took the brochure home to think it over. I could use some help from your experience regarding the cost for the prescribed 15K, 25K, 35K and 45K service. I normally drive around 8K-10K per year, so being able to include the 45K service within the 5 year limit is a bit iffy.
Based on the info in the "USA Warranty and Maintenance" book that came with the car, the "Minor" service looks like it involves changing the oil and rotating the tires (plus a few other look-see checks). The "Major" service also includes, in addition, new spark plugs, battery (if necessary) and dust/pollen filter replacement.
I look forward to comments regarding your experience and advice.

How much are the individual services? I am wondering if it only pays off if they find something worn and need to replace it, like brake pads (or is this not covered). Are dealers able to offer a deal on the service plan?
Theres no coolant change service....
