Default Black or Blackout window trim

I searched for days for cheap ways to blackout the window trim on my A4 B8... Audi charges an arm and a leg for the actual black trim that they make so I found a link online with pics and description for a DIY way to black out the chrome on your window trim. Trimbrite T9005 Black-Out Tape

Its called trimbrite and it costs like 6 bucks at pep boys... so simple and easy to do if your handy and well worth it. The black out tape cant be pulled and molded to your cars curved window trim and peels off when you no longer want it. I did it last week and it rained the first day I did it with no peeling or loosening at all. below are some pics

I'm curious how long it will hold up, before having to replace.
I like the look of it though. I'm not a fan of chrome and the black on white is perfect.

Hey! I bought my trim tape at BMW Shadowline Trim | Buy Shadowline Trim Tape and it works great! I have had mine on for two years and it still looks like new and was really easy to put on!

Still holding up perfectly, not the slightest bit of peeling or anything.
