I have had my A4 convertible for 2 years, (2009). Occassionally I get a yellow flashing signal in the drivers little window above the steering wheel. It flashes 200, or 400, or 600! My dealer said this is 'how long I have been driving' ?????? Doesn't make sense to me. That would be a white information signal and I am sure it would be more accurate than 200 intervals. But, that is what he insists it means. Has anyone else ever had this warning flash??? The dealer and mechanics told me they never saw this before!!! which agains sets off an alarm in my head. I told them they shouldcall Germany and find out. They came back to me with that lame excuse. So anyone else at there ever come across this phenominon?

when i'm on the highway driving hours on end, it does flash every 2 hours. i personally find it annoying too but you can clear it by pushing the button on the right lever.
