Default OEM bluetooth

New user looking?
I need information on adding Bluetooth in 2012 A4. I did not see a post on this but it must be my search techniques. Can the OEM stuff be installed if not what the best after market

Not sure on OEM.

I have an 09 Audi A4 that has bluetooth integrated from the factory, so the phone part works OK, but doesn't stream music. I use this to stream music from my phone to my car stereo, works perfectly. You can also use this to make and answer phone calls from your car using bluetooth as well.

You'll need the MMI iPod cable in your glove box.

thanks for the info on the ViseeO Tune2air. Since I have nothing in the glove box, I guess I need to keep digging. It seems very odd that I can not find a way to do this, still hoping for some more guidance.

To do OEM is cost prohibitive. That leaves you with aftermarket type divices similar to Motorola Roadster or Blue ant type units.

Ok, I have one coming for myself.

I hope you noticed that they do not have Fiscon product for MMI 3G model, they recommended this product instead http://www.need4street.de/index.php/...79?language=en

Just had email with advice person, very helpful in verifying which product would work with my car. I asked him a question in a second email and I thought that I would share his reply. I know about bus systems (can bus, profi bus, etc) so I wanted to know if a programming device is needed to get there system to work. His reply was yes you have to code the car to work for the telephone function. And that your audi dealer could do this. This means the system will not work by just plugging it in. Maybe in Germany dealers are more likely to do this but I am not sure about the one I deal with. So now I am looking for programming devices and information on what address info I need to get the system from fiscon to work. Any one know this.

You need to find the person who has VCDS (Ross-Tech: VCDS). Then check this manual for the coding, the person with the VCDS can do that (http://www.fiscon-mobile.eu/support/...udi_pro_en.pdf). Make also sure that you have the right remove keys for the CD/CD changer before you start assembling.
