Tire pressure question
Hey guys! My name is Rich and I just purchased a 2011 A4, so far I love the car and this forum looks awesome filled with very knowledgeable Audi enthusiast!
The past day my check tire light came on, I have only had the car 2 days and the tires look fine. Could this have just been triggered by the cold weather and the pressure is fine? Should pressure be at 32 psi at all times for all 4 tires
Thanks guys
Rich

most certainly can be caused by cold weather. I find every winter, unless I add some just before, my tire pressure monitor will remind me it is winter and cold weather equals lower tire pressure.
Do as suggested - add to correct tire pressure and you should be fine.

Every 10 degree drop in temperature equals about 1 psi drop in air pressure and vice-versa. That's tire temp not necessarily outside air temp. That's why you always check tire pressure on a cold tire (car not driven for at least 3 hours prior).
