Hi All!
So I have just bought a 2010 2.0Tdi Avant S-Line all in very good condition with excellent history but one thing it has an annoying creaking from suspension.
Now there is no noise over bumps or speed humps etc. It happens when pulling away or slowing down or when turning at slow speeds. Because it isn't over bumps
I wouldn't think its springs or shocks ? But I wondered if others have experienced the same and have fixed it before I purchase all the Bushes and Arms for the front!

After 12+ years, rubber bushings can dry out or have grime infiltrate. Then as metal moves against rubber = squeaking or creaking. Every year or two, when I remove my rims for a good inside/outside cleaning, I liberally spray the bushings with silicone (NOT WD-40) spray and use the little hose to spray amap on the inside of the bushing. Might be worth a try - it's cheap.
