Torque Conv. problem
Well, less than 4,000 miles on my 2012 A4 Quattro Premium Plus, the first issue has begun. Hopefully it will resolve without too much hassle.
A few days ago, a warning light came on with a gearbox malfunction warning. After the car was parked and restarted, the warning disappeared.
Took it to the dealer today and they came up with a code that says the torque convertor is stuck on. The dealer says this is a new issue and no fix has been developed. It is safe to drive according to them.
If the light stay on, then I guess the TC doesn't lock which mean a burnt tranny. Hope the light stays off until the contact me for service.
Here's to crossing my fingers.
