How long does it take to replace the water pump? I brought in my car last Monday Apr 6, and its taking more than a week. They said they ordered parts last Wed, but its Monday and they still haven't received them. Is this normal? I'm not a mechanic, so I don't know, maybe it does take over a week to replace a water pump.

 

If it's an 09, some dealers are saying that some parts for the 09 cars are are hard to come by since the cars are so new. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

ouch.. i'm wondering why you would need to replace the water pump for a '09 model? aren't those parts "supposed" to last more thank 60k miles?
