The new Tesla Model S looks amazing! Will Audi build an electric care to compete with this?

Wow. I want that.
Seats 7, 300 mile range, 06 is 5.5?

Can't wait untill they make models for middle class. Haha.
I'm sure it's priced at... Too much.

As much as I liked the original Tesla (who doesn't like an electric Lotus Elise), this is not for me. If I want 7 passengers, I'll buy a Q7 not a electric 4 door sedan. If I want performance with 7 passengers, still a Q7.

If I want performance, ANY Audi sedan.

That Tesla weighs in at 4000 pounds. That is a fat ugly pig of a roadster, and I cant imagine the extra battery pack to get to 300 miles a charge. I don't routinely drive 7 people around keeping them within 80 miles of my house, and I don't have an hour every so many miles to "top off".

EV is a great concept, and it is a decent looking car, but it is a fat pig and not something I'd blow $50 grand on. Not when I can get an S5 for that, and most certainly not when I can get an A4 and have some cash for mods. Not that I have $50 grand to blow, haha, but if I did, oh man my A4 would be fast...

Then again, if I was going to buy a car like that, it's be the original Tesla, and even then I'd probably just get an Exige by Lotus instead. Ugh I hate how many awesome cars there are out there! haha
