I am new to Audi and new to diesel. I just got a 1983 Audi 5000 diesel that has been sitting for over a year, and changed the oil and filter, and was about to change the fuel filter, but then I thought I should check and see if there was a proper technique. If I remove the fuel filter, does that mean I need to do something to repressurize the system? If someone could tell me how to do this, or what the steps are, I would greatly appreciate it.
