My temperature gage is indicated normal temperature but my pressure gage is always maxed out during acceleration and returns to 2 on idel. Should I be worried? If this is a problem, how can it be fixed.

What type of oil should I put in a 93 V8 4.2

What oil are you using?

you can read my thing I wrote on my webpage about oil.
I max out to 4.5Bars tops, that on my car relive point I belive. dont know V8s

 

check the oil pressure sensors
