Default Wow My Timing Sucks...

Well, i picked up some injectors this weekend, and tested the, and they were spraying beautifully. So i put them in nicely, routed all the fuel lines so it looks pretty, i even used connections cleaner and cleaned out just about every connection( some were horrible, i advise you to do the same one those days).

The car is still under the carport as a project, but it was actaully firing up b4, which is great, but the distributor clamp was never really tightened previously.

I turn the key, and she fires up, but choping chopping, and just as im about to turn it off, something blows up [:@].

I look, and my injectors blew right out of the block, and are just dangling, with exhaust coming out. The only thing i can think of is the intake valve was opened when the piston compressed.

Sounds like improper ignition timing

did all of them blow out ? if so than i would have to say that you didn't install them all the way .... if you were able to se the big fat green o-ring after install than you fed up ... i used a long *** heavy duty screw driver to push them in so they get seated proper
