Default 2.7T - data log numbers

I had my 2.7T custom tuned (aggressive tune, 93 oct, stock configuratoin; no data logs) and later removed the pre cat and main cat (same tune). The car felt VERY strong, and logged data confirmed:

Max MAF: 250.5 g/s at 6400 rpm
Max Torque: 458.6 Nm at 3000 rpm
Max HP: 303.9 HP at 6480 rpm
Max Boost: 18.1 psi at 3000 rpm

With the cats removed, we retuned the car yesterday, but did NOT manage to get any improvements:

Max MAF: 256.8 g/s at 5760 rpm
Max Torque: 438.1 Nm at 3200 rpm
Max HP: 296.3 HP at 6920 rpm
Max Boost: 20.2 psi at 3680 rpm

The 'butt meter' confirms. Maybe a little more lively above 4k rpm, but less 'torque hammer' around 3k.

What are the numbers out there for the 2.7T (VAGcom logs)?
Giac, APR, etc for Stage 2 (? gutted pre cat and eliminated main cat, rest stock)?
Why are we not seeing improvements that I expected from the surely reduced backpressure and increased exhaust flow?

What is the next bottleneck that I an tackle without spending much?
Larger turbos have to wait until year end

VERY nice! good to see that there is quite a bit of room left on the stock motor.
LOVE your torque number (already like mine a lot).

Data logging:
Vagcom, ECUx, nefmoto logger, etc.
They are all in your ECU.

Great way to check out the effects of those 'feel good mods' (like "really hot air intake", K&N filter, "Darin Intake mod".

But also a must for fine tuning custom tunes (your tuner will tell you what and how to log).

the more logs we have the better.
Particularly MAF, IAT, (Torque if you have).
