Cheap power, Diode, MBC, and Boost gauge install
Just wanted to report that i did this a couple of weeks ago on my 01 and it has been running great. Followed the instructions and no issues. I did go a little different route then some. I used the following.
-Synapse BOV (re-circulated, plan to vent as soon as my anti-stall kit gets here.)
-Turbosmart MBC (i know it was not recommended but i had it already and so fare its been working great.)
-Diode this is what it looks like installed correctly:
Like i said been running for a couple of weeks now and boosting to 15-17 PSI. I did also bypass the n710 valve as well as the valve that controls the DV/BOV and also have zero issues. The n710 valve was slowing down the wastgate response so i decided to not use it. With out it the boost goes up much quicker, and is much more consistent and predictable.

so, this may be stupid but i'm just trying to be careful not to blow my car up
i have my boost gauge installed and the diode, wondering how i'm suppose to replace the n75 with my mbc when i have 3 hoses coming off the n75 and 2 off the mbc, do i t two of the hoses together after the mbc

i thought the ecu controls boost???
