Hi guys, wondering if anybody can help me. I have an audi tt 1.8T (2001). Driving fine, however there have been a couple of occasions when ive accelerated and the check engine light flashes for about 5 - 10 secs then goes off again. Its only happened a couple of times and light is normally off- help?? any ideas??

flashing CEL means that you are misfiring

scan for codes to narrow down why

It's your car saying. "I love you"

And yes flashing cel tends to mean miss. Your happens to probably mean soft miss..... Scan and replace bad plugs or coil. Or maybe do both for ***** and giggles

It needs to be fixed a miss is a catalyst damaging issue. So fix coils(30-80/per) or fix cat(100-1000)?
