Folks,

I have a 2008 A8L that I just bought (with 2 year Audi warranty). I'm not sure how accurate is the miles remaining estimation that shows in the trip computer. This morning I filled up the tank and said 380 miles. I drove to my local sushi restaurant for a bite and came back home, all less than 2 miles, and the computer was now reading 345, and the needle didn't even move from full.

The climate control was off, and the driving is some flat and some in the hills here North of the Golden Gate.

Is this normal or should I pay a visit to my dealer?

Getting the estimate from a couple miles is never accurate. It's better off being used for longer trips. It'll equal out though over the course of the tank.
