Default Cloudy Chrome

Most of the chrome on my 96 has gotten cloudy. I have tried a chrome polish, Mother's Polish, Magic Wading and plain old hard wax but nothing can touch it. Any ideas? thanks

Have you tried detailer's clay? I just used it to remove the rust haze on the chrome bumper of my 98 Montero. Did a great job.
