Yes, you need a 4.3v diode. You need to limit the boost reading to under 14.7psi. Also, post these ?'s in the correct thread (see sig).

Hey guys first post on here Ok i got my self a MBC this one but i got a (Autotecnica one)http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/9...dboost3nx8.jpganywyas I installed with the N75 all hooked up, getting heaps of boost it will hit 20psi and cut of for a second and i just cant get it to run below 15psi or anywhere below!!! i tried swaping the hoses from the inlet to out let still same problem? Why could this be? Even when i totaly close the MBC it still boost at 20psi

PS: I got a chip in my car

Thanks for any help

I just noticed that 1st and 2nd at 17psi dont do any cut offs it it's only 3rd 4th and 5th gear that will cut out and it seems that in 3rd 4th 5th it hits 18psi!?

i have that one as well (except mine is blue) and I am having problems with it as well. My boost jumps all over the place 10-22PSI so it's not smooth by any means. I am going to go back to using the N75 to see if that works better for me today. (Have not tried that since I got my K04 setup). Hopefully It works. It's really annoying trying to drive like that.

Ok i sused out my problem was a melted vacum line Anyways all fixed now My question is when i have turned the MBC to the lowest settings in first gear i get 11PSI thats what my chip gives me and soon as i hit 2nd gear it will go all the way to 17psi and stay there how is this? If i had no MBC installed i would of only goten about 12-13psi? why is it giving extra 5-6Psi?

you wont get the same psi in first and usually second due to load and gearing

if you just installed that fmic and lost 5psi, thats not very good. You sure your usuing 2.25" piping? 0-3psi drop is expected for a normal kit depending on piping and size of the core.

But turning the boost up will be fine. Just remember that you have a drop and the turbo is running much more boost than your engine/boostgauge is seeing
