2000 A6 2.7 Torque Converter Sensor Causing Emission Failure
I have a 2000 A6 2.7 that's throwing the MIL and the Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stuck Off code and I am failing emissions. I didn't know this had ANYTHING to do with emissions.
There is nothing wrong w/ my TC ( my clutch isn't slipping at all.) I'm guessing I'm failing emissions because my check engine light is on, period.
Anyone know of how I can get this light to go away, at least temporarily so that I can pass emissions in Wisconsin?
Someone I know tried to erase the code w/ his computer, and it wouldn't erase. Is there a special computer or software needed to do this?
Thank you so much for your help!
