My Audi a6 2.7t has bad speakers and bad exhaust. I want speakers that are better than stock. Also I want to do my exhaust. Anybody out there done this, if so I need to be pointed into the direction.

 

Have an exhaust built custom, it's far cheaper. If you want to buy one direct, talk to 034Motorsport.com, APR, AWE, etc. They all sell them. Check out Milltek, Remus, etc as well. All are expensive (over $1000). I had a custom setup built for my 30v A4 for $350, including muffler, aftermarket resonator, custom piping, and all welding labor.

As for speakers, just go listen to some at a shop and pick what you like. If you DIY, pick them out and install them. If you have a shop do it, tell them what you're after sound-wise, have them demo some cars for you, and turn them loose.

I had my exhaust done at a local shop , I paid $580 for everything to include brand new flexpipe, to magnaflow hiflow cats, to 2 1/4" pipe all the way back, and the stock mufflers and resonater gone, where the mufflars were I put in a glasspack on each side, then I had 2 nice Chrome turndown tips added. It sounds amazing and there's no drown going down the highway. I did all this because I was throwing a cat code, I erased the code and it hasn't come back yet. But as far as the speakers go, is there any certain brand that fits directly into the factory holes and also has the same ohms output as the factory radio? I want some descent speakers that will sound as good as factory if not better while using the factory radio and amp!
