Default 2002 Audi S4 DTC 18014 issue

hey guy,

Working on my buddies s4 that is an R-titled vehicle. he has had the car for almost a year now and there is approx 108KKK on it. I fixed the misfire in the car in about five minutes since I recently had the exact same issue on my A6.
The car is throwing a 18014 code and its really wierd because my code reader showed that prefix first and whenever i tried to read the rest all it would do is try to pull the codes but some type of communication error was taking place and never changed states. Road test: immediately on the first braking sequence there was a shudder that was very pronounced at the right front wheel, felt like abs or at least that was my intuition. after looking up the prefix i realized this is an abs problem, I found some abs sensor cleaning tips however because this car was totaled out at some point in the past I am leaning toward a full on wiring issue. I do not have a bentley manual and either does he. I am on the road this week for work so I guess Im throwing a line out there for any and all suggestions, whenever i get a chance to get that wheel off i have some preliminary checks however I am not sure if any of you guys could hook me up with a wiring diagram for the abs sensor circuit and all revelant wiring to that control system. I used to deal with dirty abs sensors on chevy trucks all the time, call me crazy but something tells me this isnt going to be so simple to fix. Any help is greatly appreciated. p.s. the threads i found on this forum really helped me to fix my A6 misfire problem, thanks guys.
