2005 A6: Radio & CD cut in & out. Every 25 seconds the radio and CD sound system cuts out (no noise – just silence) and at some time the screen on the dash goes blank; then after 5 seconds the sound and screen resume to normal, for another 25 seconds, then repeat. When this problem developed the phone/blue tooth stopped working, altogether. Thus the radio and CD are on a 25 seconds on and 5 seconds off routine, and the phone/blue tooth is inoperable all of the time. No change after 30+ days. I have seen other threads on this problem, so I know that it is not all that uncommon. Yet I have not read or learned of what actually causes the problem or how to correct it. I am not a tech-guy myself, but would like to know what to do and whether I can take it to my local car mechanic or car radio shop; or if this is a job for an Audi dealer. Thanks.
