RE: Adding a Amp and Sub to Bose Problem
Looking in the back of my vehicle I thought of another way to resolve this issue. Does anyone know of another wire in the trunk that goes on/off with the vehicles power?

No luck, Im just gonna run the wires for the switch I had setup to somwhere under the dash or something. I dont mind the switch so much, just going to the trunk to turn the amp off. Thanks anyway bro

RE: Adding a Amp and Sub to Bose Problem
The only time my amp would stay on is if the remote switch on the amp had a connection to the power feed in.I'm tapped into my bose though the larger white wire which only turns on with the radio so I do see any need to put a switch in line if your wired into both amps right.Plus check your ground use a desent size wire 12awg sand down under one of your bolts in the trunk and crank it down,

RE: Adding a Amp and Sub to Bose Problem
There was alot of reading soo i skipped alot of it above haha. but YOu dont need to use the remote turn on wire for the factory bose amp. if your have truoble finding a remote turn on source, just go and find one of the accessory wires in your car. If you want i checked my source and found the accessory wire at the ignition harness behind lower dash driver side. You should be looking for a Yellow/Black wire thats runs to the ignition. Test it. There should be nothing when car off, and should be anywere from 11.5-14 volts depending on battery and such when the key is in the on position. IF its right, connect the remote turn on to that and bypass the bose one. Now your amp should run by it self and shut off when you turn the car off.
